Generally speaking, I am interessed in the dynamics of black holes and the emission of gravitational waves during the process. I am currently working with the Robinson Trautman spacetime – an exact solution of vacuum Einstein’s equation, which describes a deformed black hole emitting gravitational waves – to study the kick acquired by the object due to a net flow of momentum carried away by the waves.

I studied Physics at the Federal University of Sao Carlos in Brazil and I am currently a Ph.D student at the University of Sao Paulo under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alberto Saa. The work is also being develop with Prof. Dr. Luciano Rezzolla at the AEI as part of an exchage program supported by DAAD.
